Yes, we know…you have woken up every morning for months now wondering what is missing in your life!  Now you can relax and quit worrying, because, as we say every fall – WE’RE BACK! It was the absence of that wacky father/daughter team of Kevin and Charlotte at conSKIerge that left that void in your life. But fear not and walk tall – we are back so you can once again live life to its fullest!!

If you are crazy enough to follow us, then we know you love skiing as a much as we do! But even we take a break in the “off season” (appropriate name in many respects, eh – it feels “off.”) to enjoy what little comfort the world can offer without skiing. The good news is that we are energized to fill social media and your inbox with our slightly zany take on our beloved sport.

So… let’s start with our annual reminder that not only do we write about and meditate on skiing for your enjoyment during the “on” season, but, in addition, we love to help folks just like you plan your next skiing adventure. Do you wake up at 2:00 AM wondering whether this is the year you check out the Powder Highway in British Columbia? Are you trying to figure out how to ditch the in-laws’ boring trip to Vail this winter? Have you been to Aspen and know that there must be something better out there? Let us help!

We love talking about skiing and directing people to the right resort for your clan or plan the right road trip. We have been lucky enough to ski all over North America and in case you didn’t know this – North America includes both the United States and Canada. Some of North America’s most interesting skiing is above the 49th parallel. We have skied all the major “name” resorts, and many of the “off the beaten track” hills. It is an offer you can’t refuse since it is FREE. You just have to put up with our enthusiasm for the sport. Get in touch with us by sending us an email at hello@conskierge.ski – we can’t wait to hear from you!

**We also want to start out the season with a clarification. We always use the term “skiing.” We use that as a generic term to mean both skiing and snowboarding. We have struggled with this – should we always use the phrase “skiing and riding”; should we just use “riding”…? For better or worse, we settled on the word “skiing.” You’ve got a better idea? Please pass it on!

Kevin Dennis is a life long ski bum with a 34 year legal career on the side. Now retired, he skis 80+ days a year. While he lives in Alta UT in the winters, he has traveled extensively through skiing and has skied almost every major resort in North America (and many you have never heard of). He continues to hit the road often throughout the western United States and Canada and trips over the last several years have included ventures in British Columbia, Montana and Colorado. Whether you want to know about the behemoths like Aspen or Squaw or are interested in the road less travelled (Lost Trail Powder Mountain in Montana or Whitewater in BC anyone?), Kevin has been there, has an opinion and you will most likely have to tell him to shut up after a half hour!
