Ikon, Epic and Mountain Collective Announce Merger

The three 800 lb. gorillas in the multi ski pass world have announced a merger that will combine the Ikon, Epic and Mountain Collective in a move that will no doubt send avalanche type tremors through the ski world. The name of the new pass is THE Ski Pass.
While final details of the merger and the impact for the involved ski areas are still being worked out, the new president of the combined company has announced that all the perks of each pass will still be available to each holder. The price for THE Ski Pass will be $4,079.41.
We here at conSKIerge are still processing this stunning news, but we have done some initial analysis on how a holder of THE Ski pass might benefit at one of our favorite resorts – Mt Buller in Australia. Under the Mountain Collective pass one gets 2 days at Mt Buller. In addition, under the Ikon Pass a holder gets 7 days at this world renowned resort. This guarantees a holder of THE Ski Pass 9 days at Mt Buller!!
Industry sources have informed us that Indy Pass was approached about joining in THE Ski Pass but declined. Indy Pass representatives are apparently relishing that they have truly proven themselves independent. And as an added incentive to have folks buy the Indy Pass they have negotiated a deal with Mt Buller to provide season passes to Mt Buller for an extra $.41.
