It’s the time of year when most skiers brains have turned to mountain biking, pickleball, fishing and dreaming of summer on the ocean, lakes and rivers. Before you move on too fast there are still some turns to be had! In addition, there are some killer deals worth shopping so that you’re geared up for next season.

Also, don’t forget to buy that pass! See our article on Winter 22-23 Ski Passes.

Have questions about gear? Don’t know what to invest in vs. rent? I am here to help! Reach out at and I’d be happy to chat. It really does pay to jump on these sales as we head into the warmer months.

I’ll admit, I am biased, but Atomic makes great skis. Looking for an all mountain ski that can do it all? The Bent Chetler has been a personal favorite over the last few seasons. Grab them this off-season at a reduced price and you’ll be glad you did come winter 2022-2023!

All of Stio’s ski gear is on sale. A few outwear personal favorites of mine are the women’s Colter jacket (pictured below), the Environ jacket and Environ bib pant. The color selection this season were excellent and the comfort and functionality cannot be beat. While it’s hard to imagine needing waterproof and down clothing on a day like today (currently 59 degrees) you will not regret gearing up for next season!

Hestra is king when it comes to ski or snowboard gloves. They have been a longtime favorite of ours here at conSKIerge, specifically the claw gloves. These three finger gloves gives you the warmth of a mitten but the dexterity of gloves. Grab them while they’re on sale at Backcountry!

Charlotte Miller caught the ski bug early from her dad. An avid skier and gearhead, Charlotte claims Sugarbush, Vermont and Alta/Snowbird, Utah as her home mountains. In addition, she has explored many other resorts throughout North America and northern Japan. Despite having a job in the corporate world, she skis 40+ days a year. She is an Ambassador for Atomic. Warning – while she loves to share her love for the mountains with others, don’t try to keep up with her on the hill – it won’t end well.
